Community Garden
GRANTS
The Public Gardens Fund distributed in part by the Eau Claire Area Master Gardeners supports nonprofit and publicly owned gardens and parks:

landscaping with Wisconsin native trees, shrubs, and perennials
-
planting flower gardens of all kinds
-
maintaining or enhancing existing plantings in nonprofit and publicly-owned gardens and parks.

Public Gardens Defined
Public gardens are community gardens, gardens at nonprofit agencies, gardens on city- and county-owned land including parks, places of worship, and college and university gardens. Also included are historical sites, botanical & arboretum gardens and nature preserves.
How to apply for a Grant
Any nonprofit in Eau Claire or Chippewa County
with a project that aligns with the Public
Gardens Fund's guidelines above can be
considered for funding.
Apply for a grant using our Application Form (now closed for 2026 - will reopen again by February 2027).
DEADLINE: March 31. Funds are limited and
will be distributed accordingly. Grants are distributed after April 15th..
We work with the Eau Claire Garden Club and the Community Foundation who also have grants available.
